REVIEW: A Hidden Fire, This Same Earth, The Force of Wind, A Fall of Water by: Elizabeth Hunter

Vampire stories are all around us these days; I mean everywhere.  So when I saw this series I was a little skeptical, but you know what, this was an awesome series.  It draws you in and you can’t put it down.  The writing is masterful, keeps you intrigued, and involves history and true love.

The series begins with the introduction of Giovanni Vecchio (the vamp) who is a scholar of old books and has a business of finding rare things for people.  His business brings him to meet Beatrice De Novo, a young librarian with lots of spunk and his soon to be mate.  Their meeting leads us into a mystery involving the four elements of the earth which vampires possess.  We are lead all across the globe through these four books with suspense and intrigue.  Elizabeth Hunter did a wonderful job in telling the stories, leaving the reader wanting to read the next book to find out what happens to our heroes.  Will love prevails in the end?  Read the books to find out.  I would highly recommend this series to those who love the paranormal and even those who don’t.

Series rating:  5 Stars
