grapesWeek of June 1: Eight Hundred Grapes by Laura Dave
Georgia Ford learned some important secrets while growing up on her family’s Sonoma vineyard. She knows everything from the number of grapes that it takes to make a bottle of wine to the secret ingredient in her mother’s lasagna. But, one week before her wedding, Georgia learns that her fiancé is keeping a life-changing secret. Georgia returns home to the vineyard for comfort only to discover that her fiancé was not the only one keeping a secret.

This is the first book I read by Dave and I was blown away.  I love family dramas and I love wine, so this book was right up my alley.  I have to say that the cover was the first thing that grabbed my attention.  Simple and eye catching!  But what is contained within the pages will have the reader enthralled up to the last page!  This is a complex family story that will have the reader guessing until the very end.  4.5 stars
