#FirstLine ~ Fate took the form of a silver scallop in the window of an antique store in the medieval French town of Cluny.
I love when I read a book by an author I love and I can hear their voice throughout the book. There is something comforting in reading an author whose works have a similar tone and pace. You can count on the story being there to entertain you because the writer is reliable. Two Steps Forward is another hit. I loved that there was so much of what I love within the pages...humor, determination, romance, strong characters and a story that is ordinal and thoughtful. This book was one that I really thought could make a great movie. I think that there are themes that will resonate with readers, characters that readers will want to root for and a setting that makes for a well drawn out story. A great read for summer.
