I love all NatGeoKids books. They really capture the love, innocence and imagination in the hearts and minds of children. In the book #SomebunnyLovesMe by #ParryGripp you read poems/songs that really highlight the love between a child and their pet. No matter the animal the bond between the owner and pet is something very special and needs to be celebrated. In the true tone of NatGeoKids books you get vibrant pictures, bright text and stunning poems/songs that keep the reader engaged and interested from cover to cover. You can hop online and watch the music and sing along with Perry or read this perfectly pitched book all on its own. A true hit and one the whole family will enjoy.

Some Assembly Required by Brian Lynch

I loved this book. I laughed out loud and was taken on a wild ride with this unusual cast of toys. I was rooting for Grumbolt from the start and could relate to the struggles he faced. I think most kids will be able to relate and that is why this book will be a HUGE hit. I thought this book was both clever and original. I want all kids to read this book because it illustrates that we may not always know what we are supposed to do or who we really are and that is OK. We just need to live our lives, be kind and stand up for what is right. I adored this book and I highly recommend it. Thanks to Scholastic for providing me a free copy for review.

A  beautiful story for children to learn about love through the eyes of a dog.  Ralphie had a rough start to his life, but when the right family found him and adopted him his life was forever changed. Watching Ralphie go through life and grow old with his family is a the true definition of love. Such a great book to talk with children about the responsibility of the dog, the joy they bring to the family and the hard times of saying goodbye to the dog at the end of its life. A great well rounded story that is full of heart.

This book is amazing! I was so involved in the characters and story. I could not put this book down. I find the grit, the power and the family drama within the pages to be original, engaging and FANTASTIC. There is such a great cast of characters with a wonderfully woven tale that will keep the readers burning through pages and trying to guess what will happen next! A must read.

This book was FANTASTIC. I loved it cover to cover. I was pulled into the lives of all the characters immediately and was amazed how it all came together. There is an underlying tension throughout the book and it all comes to a head by the end. It was so well constructed and paced. Such an intense and deeply touching novel that will keep the reader burning through the pages.

A great read that had a distinct voice and plot. Saxton created characters that are multilayered and complex. I never really knew what to expect and was completely engaged the entire time. It was one of those reads that kept me on my toes. It was richly woven novel about family and all its drama. A must read and one that will make a perfect book club pick.
