This book was so great. I loved the depth that Callahan can bring to her stories and the characters within them. She is so mindful of the little details, facts and history. Lisa Wingate called this book a "literary treasure" and I would have to agree 100% and find that description to be so perfectly fitting. Such a gift she has given us as readers. This book is sure to stay with you long after you finish reading it, which is a sign of a fantastic read! Book clubs will also find this book to be a perfect pick!
