#FirstLine ~ Charlene Berkey was devastated. 

This  book is sheer brilliance.  I adored the setting and the characters, both main and secondary, were well fleshed out, real and believable.  There was a richness to the story that is true to Carr and what we know and love about her writing.  I thought the story was touching and hard to out down. I could see being made into a movie because it would translate so well to the big screen.  I adored this book and highly recommend it!
