I have decided to add a new element to Mrs Mommy Booknerd's Book Reviews: SHOWCASES. Book/author showcases will feature authors/or books that I find very interesting. Showcases will feature authors who appear to me to have great talent or promise. I may not have read the author before, or they may be one of my favorite authors. Most of the books featured will be books that I have not read or reviewed, but have put on my "to read" pile. I feel that there are so many good books, but not enough time to read them all. I want to have a variety of interesting authors and books for my followers to explore...Enjoy!!!
So here is my first book showcase:
My Thoughts:
I find the setting of TIMELESS to be amazing and it is really what first spiked my interest. I have spent time in Scotland and fell in love with the country. It is a country that is filled with history, mystery and ambience. I feel that TIMELESS may touch on some of the elements that I find so intriguing about Scotland. The storyline sounds interesting and original. I feel that this book is one worth taking a look at.

Book Description
Archaeology student, Regan Stanhope, lands the chance of a lifetime when she’s chosen to work on a summer dig in Loch Maree, Scotland. The ancient monoliths hidden beneath the loch are the most important discovery since Stonehenge. And for seven hundred years, they have been waiting—for her.
Saturation diver Quinn Douglas is contracted to recover some of the megaliths from the loch’s bottom. The job will breathe life into the struggling salvage business he and his brothers are building. But from the moment he arrives, Quinn is plagued by dreams and feelings from a past he did not live. Or did he?
Regan and Quinn are drawn to each other as they research the monoliths and the reason behind their shared visions. But both sense something mystical at work, delving into their minds, manipulating their emotions. And when they finally discover the monoliths’ extraordinary secret, they know they must seal them away from those who are desperate to unlock their power. Even if it means remaining caught in a timeless struggle between the past and present forever.

Teresa, Your Highland book is a must read, ditto for the first in your SEALs series. If either one is as good as your current WIP, I'm in for a treat. Can't help but admire the way you're ranging over different subjects and different locales in your writing. You have an inventive mind--just what a writer needs! Best of luck to ya'. Jean Harrington

I'm so tickled to be in your reader pile. Whenever someone reads your book, you know all the effort and struggle you went through wrestling with character development and plot and developing the romance was all worth it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring my book.
I really appreciate it.

Teresa, you know I think you're a writing dynamo! You're all over the spectrum with your stories, which keeps things fresh and interesting for someone who enjoys your writing. Can't wait to see what you come up with next! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so thrilled you gals have come to visit Mrs. Mommy Book Nerd Blog. I'm tickled for my book to be featured here. We'll have to frequent the blog and see what books are reviewed each week. I like to read other writers' work to keep the ideas flowing. I think that's the way it works for most writers. You have to take a break from your own writing to enjoy someone else's then you come back to your own refreshed.

I LOVE this cover! And the book sounds great. Right up my alley. I think I'll have to get it for my Kindle. App, that is. :( I don't have the real thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anita. So glad you're interested in the book. I'm a bit obsessed by Scotland. This is my second book set there. I can feel a third coming on.
