#MMBBR #Review #FirstLine by #LillyBartlett @MicheleGormanUK @nottinghillpr #NottingHillPress #soontobereleased

#FirstLine ~ Scarlett barely had time to register the furry flash of red before it rugby-tackled her in the park.

I love Gorman. She always gives me the feels. She is ALWAYS able to connect with her readers because she writes books that readers can relate to. The characters are original and dynamic. They make you laugh, sometimes cry, and always entertain. This time there are dogs too. What could be better??? Her books are so fun to read. I wish I could hop inside and hangout in the story, that is how much I love her writing. She created worlds where I want to live and characters that I want to know. I know with 100% certainty that when I pick up one of her books I can going to be fully engaged and entertained. Brilliance in the pages, just brilliant!!

The Truth About Love and Dogs: The laugh out loud new romcom about friendship and happily ever afters by [Bartlett, Lilly, Gorman, Michele]

Four little words, uttered by her husband…
‘Oh my god,’ he gasped into her shoulder. ‘Shannon!’
There’s just one problem: her name isn’t Shannon.

Rewind six months and Scarlett and Rufus aren’t in the honeymoon stage anymore so much as the honey-should-we-bother phase. Desperate to get their sparkle back, Scarlett has plotted, planned and waxed more than any woman should have to, but none of it is working. Which makes it very hard to start the family they want.

At least her business is going strong, even if her marriage isn’t. She and her best friend spend their days tangled up in dog leashes and covered in fur. Scarlett is the fairy dogmother, training hopeless pets like compulsive eater Barkley, impulsive Romeo Murphy and bossy Biscuit. Meanwhile, her best friend walks the dogs and pines for the man who doesn’t know she exists. Thank goodness the women have each other.

If only Scarlett could work out how to get her marriage back on track. But Rufus isn’t sharing his feelings with her. He is, though, sharing with her best friend. Her best friend, Shannon.

Meet your new best friends in the witty, uplifting, utterly hilarious tale that will make you laugh, cry and say “I know the feeling”. Perfect for fans of Beth Kendrick’s In Dog We Trust, Mary Kay Andrews and Inglath Cooper’s Good Guys Love Dogs!

This romcom was originally titled Love is a Four-Legged Word by Michele Gorman.
