#MMBBR Review: Coloring Flower Mandalas Book by Wendy Piersall

My coloring project!  I am loving coloring!!!!

“Coloring Flower Mandalas,” illustrated by the talented Wendy Piersall, adds the beauty of inspiring blooms—including orchids, roses, lilies, poppies, sunflowers and more—into these intricate designs for page after page of coloring book bliss.

Relax, focus, reach a higher state of mindfulness and simply enjoy yourself as you artfully bring these blooms to life.

“Try coloring with your favorite music in the background and get into the zone when you know you won’t be interrupted for at least 30 minutes,” Piersall suggests.

See Wendy’s ‘Coloring Flower Mandalas’ time-lapse videos here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMmvCCYnTqw) or here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaJp254V-n0).

I have found coloring to be a bit of a meditative experience.  I set aside at least 20 minutes a few times a week for this very relaxing activity.  I find this particular coloring book to be very enjoyable as I have been coloring in a pattern, it allows me to focus on the task at hand and zone out all other distractions.  It is easy to get lost in the very intricate drawings.  They are just so beautiful.  I love that there endless ways to create your own works of art.   P.S.  I use very sharp coloring pencils for my drawings!
