I read this book and also listened to the audiobook version as well. To say I am a fan of the Finley Donovan series is an understatement. I love how easy it is to get sucked into the story. There is humor, mystery and interesting characters, plus a story that is so perfectly plotted. You get to know Finley and her pals and are invested in their mishaps and misguided adventures. You will blast through the pages; both wanting to see how it ends and simultaneously trying to savor every word! I will read every book in this series and I want these installment to keep coming!!! I am a super fan and want everyone else to read this story too!!!

This book was wonderful. I was transported. I was engrossed. I was captivated. This story was brilliantly plotted and executed. Their was such a dynamic story with characters that will resonate with readers. This book will be one that will spark conversation, so it is perfect for book clubs. A must read!

#FirstLine ~ PROLOGUE  - I gasp and stagger backward.

This book is...WOW! Every time I think Kubica has written her best ever book, she comes out with another hit! Just the Nicest Couple is one of those books that you will read so fast because you cannot put it down!!!! Kubica is a master storyteller that creates time and place so utterly perfectly. She develops characters and a story that will get creep into the soul of the reader. There are few other writers that can engage readers with a story that is so precisely paced with spot on dialogue. A must read!!!!

This book was fantastic….heavy and hopefully, sad and triumphant. I was pulled into this raw and honest story that shows nothing in life is simple. This story covers heavy topics, but does so with heart and truth. The story is beautifully told and paced well. You will become engrossed in the story and this story and chapters will stay with you long after you finish reading!! A must read for 2023!!!!
