#FirstLine ~ At the age of somewhere between 35 and 45 - he didn't know exactly how old he was - Wilde found his father.

I really enjoyed this story. I did not read the first in the series and I did not feel lost or confused. I really loved getting to know the characters. It was a blast to be twisted and turned around in the story and not ever really knowing what was going to happen. It was unpredictable and well paced. I loved the setting too. It was such a great read!!!

I Love Strawberries by Shannon Anderson

This book is adorable and I loved it. I was taken in my this smart, clever and determined little girl working her way to growing strawberries through smaller missions. It was illustrated so perfectly and brings the story to life. It is a must read for those that love gardening and anyone who loves a perfectly illustrated and articulated story. LOVED IT!!!

Let's Never Talk About This Again: A Memoir by Sara Faith Alterman

#FirstLine ~ The most important room in my childhood home was covered in ducks; a first-floor den we called the Duck Room.

I admire anyone who can expose themselves and become vulnerable to the public by sharing their story, so others can learn or so they don't feel so alone in this big old world! I loved this memoir because not only was it honest, but it was also funny, raw, and engaging. It was brilliant and I really appreciate the fact that it was shared out for all of us to enjoy.

The Marvelous Monroe Girls by Shirley Jump

#FirstLine ~ The best memories from Gabby Monroe's childhood were sprinkled with chocolate chip cookie crumbs.


This book was the sweetest ever. I love that this is part of a new series, so I can continue on with the characters. I adore romances that also have strong characters, an interesting plot and a pacing that keeps me engaged. This story has all that and more. With a heartwarming story and a grate setting, all the elements come together in a very satisfying way. I really enjoyed this book!
