Kline is a marvel when it comes to historical fiction. You can tell when reading her beautiful stories that they are well researched, plotted and paced. You are brought into the past and able to live through a bit of history with characters that are meaningful and a setting that is unforgettable. A Piece of the World is stunning and captures more than just history, but also those who lived it. With an authentic truth and powerful story line, this book is another stunner. A must read for those that love historical fiction and great for book clubs.
